TREK to design plan for Business Park / Incubator in Central Greece

TREK has been awarded the design of a feasibility and viability study dealing with the creation of a Business Park / Incubator within the geographical limits of Central Greece (Region of Sterea Ellada). Among other topics of the study is the examination of alternative locations for the establishment of the Park, as well as the detailed components comprising the associated feasibility and viability plan. Beneficiaries of the project are the business community of the region and relative business support structures of entrepreneurship and innovation. The 100.000 euro project expects to boost local economy and embrace mobility of entrepreneurship in the region.

Topics of the study are:
. Definition of the concept based on legislative and regulatory framework, as well as national/international experience, adjusted to the selected case.
. Assessment of the existing economic and social situation of the region / SWOT Analysis
. Research on regional economic sectors capable of introducing business activities in the Business Park / Incubator, on human resources, on market demand, on infrastructures available etc.
. Examination of alternative locations on the basis of the Regional Spatial Plan - Methodology for selection
. Operational and organizational structure for the management of the Park
