Technical Assistance to the OP Employment & VET 2006-2008 Greece

As of January 2007, TREK -as a consortium member- undertakes Technical assitance work to the Hellenic Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs for the implementation of the Operational Program "Employment & VET 2006-2008". Project duration is 20 months and budget 900.000 euros.
The Operational Program for Employment & Vocational-Educational Training is part of the European Social Fund, followed by the Ministry of Loabor & Social Affairs, with the following key features:

Priority axis 1 : Development & Promotion of active policies to fight and prevent unemployment, avoid long term unemployment and facilitate the reintegration of the long-term unemployed persons

Priority axis 2 : Promotion of the equality of opportunities of access to the labour market for all and especially for those threatened by social exclusion.

Priority axis 3 : Promotion and improvement of vocational training and consultative services.

Priority Axis 4 : Development and promotion of enterpereneurship and adaptability of the work-force.

Priority axis 5 : Improvement of the access and participation of women into the labour market.

TREK provides Technical assistance for the smooth implementation of the above priorities for the period 2006-2008.
