Provision of Technical Assistance to the Regional Authority of Central Macedonia on Social Fund issues (ESF)

For the period July 2005 to 2006, TREK Consulting is providing advisory support to the Regional Authority of Central Macedonia for the monitoring and implementation of Measures of Social Policy and Employment. At the same time, assistance is provided to 260 Municipalities and public enterprises of Central Macedonia , which are the final beneficiaries of these programmes.

TREK Consulting is providing technical and operational advice to the Managing Authority of the Regional Operational Programme of Central Macedonia in support of the final beneficiaries of Measures 5.1, 5.3 and 3.9, which aims firstly to ensure transparency, the correct management of EU funds and the smooth implementation of projects according to the regulatory framework, and secondly to ensure that the obligations of the final beneficiaries as described in the Programme are met.

This assignment follows on from the excellent collaboration between TREK Consulting and the Managing Authority of the Regional Authority of Central Macedonia in the provision of technical assistance during the period 2003 - 2005.
