Dinos Papapolyzos was born in 1966 in Serres, Northern Greece. In 1989 he received his B.Sc. in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessalonica, GR. In 1991 he received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute of New York, NYC. He worked as a Telecommunications Engineer at EBASCO Corp. (NY), a company of Energy and Telecom Projects and Infrastructures, and afterwards as a Researcher at the National Defense Research Center (GR) in the area of Telecom Systems.

He became Project Manager in developing weapon systems in INTRACOM Group (Greece), for NATO projects (Hawk missile) and projects with the Public Sector. In INTRACOM, he was also responsible for the implementation of research projects of WEAG - Western European Armament Group.

In 1994, he became Marketing Manager in ECON Industries (Greece) in the area of technology (electronics - telecommunications). He was National Representative of the Greek Defensive Industry in WEAG within the context of the program EUCLID.

Since 1995, he is Managing Partner and co-founder of TREK Consulting SA, in which he is responsible for Operations and Business Development and coordinates a wide range of projects and consulting services on Strategy, e-Government, Restructuring and Development. In 1997 he established with his brother HYPERTECH SA, active in information technologies & Enterprise Content Management applications. 

He is keynote speaker in Technology and Entrepreneurship Fora and he is frequent editor for entrepreneurship and development press articles.
